I've got a pair of MDR1000x by Sony, but will most likely return them soon and order the Sennheiser HD 4.50 BTNC when they become available. I haven't tested the Sony for lifting, but I just don't feel that they are meant to be taken into the gym, although their active noice cancellation and touch functions are pretty neat
