The key is keeping up with maintenance. If the car is in perfect working order and looks good, it will hold value within reason. I was sure I wanted to keep it stock. Now I want to do some basic 'reversible' mods. I think the key is being careful with how much money is spent. Wheels, tires, a ssk, an exhaust. Some paint touch ups. Some gaskets. It adds up lol.

But I really enjoy having my car. In the end, that's what matters.

Drive it in good health my friend
My car has a few mods that it came with, Fister exhaust (has to be the best name for an exhaust system), really throaty no drone, it has the high performance air box and an Alpine stereo which will be replaced with a Porsche Classic system or an original Becker. I'd like to get new wheels at some point but that's all as I like the originality of the car. I lucked out as I live about an hour from the nearest dealer and in an area that doesn't seem to have a lot of older european cars but there's a guy literally 5 miles from me that is from europe, he trained as a Porsche mechanic and then moved to Canada to be the mechanic for Porsche racing in the Can Am series I believe. They guy is a genius and all he works on is Porsche. Enjoy your bug, they are a great car.
