Post OnePlus is Becoming A Pro with 7 Pro - Facts vs Rumors

Almost every smartphone manufacturer prides themselves in their own Pro phones. OnePlus finally jumps on the Pro variant bandwagon. Within a week’s time, we get to see the final unveiling of their new flagship series. Anyhow, as excited as you are about this phone, we have gathered some revealed facts about OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro as well as rumors that circulate around them.

Facts
Some confirmed deets we have known about OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro thus far:
1. OnePlus 7 Pro offers 3 rear cameras and features 5G connectivity.
2. OnePlus 7 series will be the “new era of Fast and Smooth”
3. They won’t be equipped with wireless charging as it would not be as fast and efficient as OnePlus’ Dash Charging technology, as stated by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau.
4. A downside to the series is that headphone jack is still nowhere to be seen on the phone.
5. OnePlus 7 series has UFS 3.0 storage. UFS essentially stands for Universal Flash Storage. It improves the connections between storage and phone. OnePlus may be the first smartphone company to market this feature. This means the series will perform faster than any similar smartphones from competitors and can handle higher temperatures.
6. Release Date: OnePlus 7 series will officially be launched on May 14.

Rumors
Now here’s the tricky part about OnePlus 7 specs. We do not know for sure if the specs leaked by smartphone insiders are entirely accurate. So let’s just view these OnePlus 7 specs as rumors for now:

ONEPLUS 7
6.4 inch
2340x1080 screen
Snapdragon 855 CPU
4,000mAh battery
48MP + 5MP dual-camera

ONEPLUS 7 PRO
6.7 inch
3120x1440 90Hz screen
Snapdragon 855 CPU
4,150mAh battery
40MP + 8MP + 16MP triple-camera

Did you spot anything different in this leaked photo of OnePlus 7 Pro? Yep, there’s a pop-up front camera lens used for selfies, which is why it’s notchless. Plus, the “chin” bezel at the bottom of the screen also appears to be slimmer than the previous OnePlus models’. For all we know, the design looks tip-top as usual. With regards to storage, OnePlus 7 Pro might come in either 128GB or 256GB.

We’re not so far away from OnePlus 7 release date, so do keep an eye out for more updates from the phone launch on May 14. At least we can rest assured that the OnePlus 7 series won’t come with jaw-dropping prices. Are you ready to give up your old phone for the new fast and smooth OnePlus phone?
