Dude! I'd try again. Surely someone in the NYC metro area could use these. You've been trying to unload them for a year and a half now.
Scams are prevalent on Craigslist, so you have to be wary, but thousands of people sell merchandise every day. I think it's your best chance. That, and maybe the local Marketplace on Facebook. Good luck!
