Plus with the tear he went on throughout the season, when we had half of our starters out injured for tons of games.....I think he's allowed to not be overly concerned with being the best defender on the planet. He was too busy carrying the team scoring 40+ every night and making sure we made it into the playoffs.  |

He does deserve MVP as he has done more with less , over Giannis
But let's not have any delusion of grandeur of James' defensive capability
