Discovered a small piece of the fan blade was missing causing a vibration. Spent hours searching for the fan blade part only or some other turbo model BMW cooling fan assembly that I could remove the fan blade from but no luck. I read somewhere that the X5 fan assembly could be modified to fit but I just need the fan. Has anyone else been in this situation? Local salvage yards have none that will work. As far as I can tell, the 9-blade fan with 850W motor is for turbo engines and a 7-blade fan with 600W motor for naturally aspirated engines but other than that, no idea what models are interchangeable. New fan assembly for E60 535 is over $500. Hoping someone has some good news to share! Thank
