When my wife bought her EV, the dealer's finance/closing guy tried to sell her a pre-paid oil change plan. I think that it was an honest mistake out of habit, since it was the first EV that they ever sold.
The sales guy even admitted to watching all of the YouTube videos on the car the night before she picked it up, because he was obligated to provide an overview of everything at delivery and likewise had never seen an EV before.
Whenever she goes to the dealership now, a small crowd of sales/parts/service people swarm her to look at the car and ask questions.....
