Anyway, that's not the point. Cloth inserts are cooler, warmer and grippier when driving hard or autocrossing. here in SoCal, I always had a sweaty back with the 1M leather seats. Much happier with the missus' plaid GTI cloth seats or the ZHP's cloth inserts with alcantara bolsters.

Yes, leather looks nice if you are into looking "premium" or luxurious or even because it does hold up better in some cases BUT for those of us that are into performance, cloth or alcantara rules. When was the last time you saw a real race car with leather seats?

Here is the euro M235i base no-cost M-sport interior....no matter how many times I post this, I'm still shocked BMW didn't offer this to US market but again, most US buyers are into luxury not performance.
