Useless tech? I'm talking about the fact that cars depend on electronics so heavily, porsche has all sorts of wizardry going on to control all sorts of stuff, if you don't think so, you're being naive. The rear computer unit on my BMW just "gave out" one day, rear hatch wouldn't open, all rear lights wouldn't work, rear windows wouldn't work, driving modes wouldn't work, the entire rear half of the car just stopped working. Luckily, it was still under warranty, but again, 10, 15 years down the road? It seems like we keep getting pushed towards disposable stuff so we are forced to keep buying...
