You make a good point. You don't even need a band to record anymore, most of the music can be done on a computer, vocals get "altered and cleaned up", and then the whole thing get's uploaded. Nobody buys physical recordings anymore everything is downloaded or streamed. I can see the utility of it, but the heart and soul just isn't there for me.
