This is my recipe so the eggs are not over cooked and gross.
My elevation is 3200ft (which effects the temp of boiling water).
Start with cold water, put eggs in pot submerged.
Bring to boil, 5 min boil uncovered, shut off burner
10 min rest covered
Then rinse with cold water until cool.
Peel.
No gross greenish layer, and yolks will have solid but smooth texture. I also buy very high quality eggs. I eat 3 a day.
