I used to take about a 100 flights a year, so I was never home... The F10 had only 11,xxx after 3 and a half years... The e92 had similar low miles, although I had 2 motorcycles then as well, and I loved driving that car... The F80 currently has 57xx miles after roughly a year and a half of ownership, and the local gig I took is about 2 miles to the office... Haven't had any problems but I tend to drive my cars / bikes hard, even in that short distance...
Point is, it's gonna take a hell of a long time for you to develop issues - IF you even develop issues... Weeks would go buy without me touching the car(s) and never an issue...
