Cool picture, railroad tracks make natural lines and lend to nicely composed photos, however, a colleague in my industry, which is not photography, but film, died on train tracks that they were shooting on. So it kind of hits home when I see railroad photography.

This is why serious and responsible photographers, both professional and amateurs, don't shoot on tracks. It encourages imitation, often with fatal results. So, even on dead tracks, I no longer shoot on train tracks.
You have a good eye, I think your photos are fine without the risk!
