Yes it has 4 wheel drive with diff locks on all wheels, plus it's light enough for a couple of burly guys to lift the entire front or rear off the ground and move it if it gets bogged which is unlikely.
It is currently registered and we use it in the summer a lot to go down to the beach and just general run around. I do have doors for it, but its much more fun without them.
