I'm trying to connect an iPhone 4s with Apple Music to my 2004 545i (CCC navigation) iPod interface kit. It doesn't work. When I plug it in, the iPhone pops up a message about not supported device, the cd changer icons light up and gray out again after a few seconds. I can't find any info on this kit to see what's up. I also tried to connect an old iPod nano 2nd generation with the same result. Anyone has experience with this setup? I know that there are some other, more modern kits on the market, but I want to try to get this to work before I shell out 500 bucks on sole other setup.
