I learned that property taxes are tied to the property not to the owner, or in this case the former owner. Apparently the lady I bought my home from still owes taxes and now it is my responsibility to pay them. What used to be the American dream is bullshit. Being a home owner seems to be more of a disadvantage in this day and age. Going to college is a scam. Hard work and dedication does not pay off, it only allows others to take from you legally somehow. Seems that in this day and age the only people that have any true luxury are those that live off of the government. Catch 22 - It would be easier to live in this manner but my morals and standards won't allow it.
