Well the good news is you have a nice tab of paint peeling off in the upper left corner of that top hole. Grab your razor knife and trim off a section about 1 inch x 1 inch and take it into your local paint store. they will scan it and make you up a quart of paint to match!
Before you paint you gotta do what everyone else is saying. Skim coat with drywall mud or patch compound, then paint. Watch some Youtube videos on how to do it. its seriously about the easiest thing in the world once you know what to do and buy.
