Serious question, but are you guys allowed to claim depression? I know it sounds ridiculous, but I ask, because in the military, this was a big no, no. Someone undergoing depression symptoms, and taking medication for this is/was considered a big risk to fellow airmen (Air Force). A pilot, for example, would be grounded, and his future would be at stake.
We are, but if you have to be strategic about how you word/report it. Certain red flag words will cause them to take your badge and gun, but being strategic will yield better results.
