not a fan of most of these modern engines with laggy turbos and redlines below 8k for a weekend ride. its fine for a daily use since you can be in the meaty part of the powerband while cruising and don't need to shift. but when i'm hitting corners i don't want to wait for a turbo to spool up.

that's why my m3 will continue to be daily, and why im skipping over the 488/720/570s in favor of a 9000rpm gt3 for my weekend ride right now.
