Unfortunately, this seems like the trend we're going with, but I'm definitely not on board. There's far more to me than just pure hp and torque. Not counting fuel efficiency, I'd gladly pick my US spec S52 with only 240 hp and 240 ft/lbs over a turbocharged 4 cylinder which will have that amount plus plenty of tuning potential. Things like engine smoothness, character, sound and even maintenance matter far more to me.
Personally, I'd rather just go electric than having a 4 pot.
