And also risk the lows all day. For me the most dramatic is the next morning, but I do see it for about 36 hours on CGM.
Yesterday is an dangerous example. I swam the night before, just a short 30 minutes, but the first time in several months. Went to bed at 110. My Lantus pen only had 20 units left, so I was short 2. Woke up at 90. Lunch was 102. Didn't vary my food intake, and actually dropped my lunch bolus by a unit. When I got home at 4 I was down to 52. MACKED on 2 Reese's, 4 chocolate nuggets, and about 1/2 a container of Fruit Loops. Wife made calabacitas with corn, and chicken chest sautéed with cabbage for dinner. At a meeting, I had 2 large chunks of watermelon. At bedtime, I was still only 126.
This morning, 240
