I signed up for another trial today. This one they are adding a vasodilator to the quick acting insulin, so I can eat first, then dose to match (what I do anyways) This could be a big improvement when combined with Symlin. But I also expect with that I may have the potential for a lot more side effects.

The basic emergency care is simple and i did my er courses too but I'm a person who learns this way the best. Especially when dealing with a kid, the adult needs to be ice cold. I'm cool on how to handle the condition in normal conditions, but the tips you gave here such as glucose or cake something things packed in for a trip are epic.
I read about the confusion and "not him" things but try actually seeing those in a quiet girl. Before you two said those, i didn't analyze those points i had read about enough to pay attention..i know what to feed to a diabetic for sure, but to handle a crisis is a different matter.
Now, if something happens on our walks, i picture your shining hair being my umbrella that'll carry me through it all.also, i doubt I'm the only one who read this so others will have a better understanding if they land in a bad situation too.
