I saw in the news that there's an increasing threat and opening cars with some devices that amplify the signal of your key fob. There's this thing call Fobguard that supposedly protect your key fob from getting the signal hijacked.

Is this **** real?
Is the technology real? Yes. Is there any significant likelihood that a thief would go through all the steps to use this tech to steal your car? No.

They can also tow your car away on a flatbed--which is much more likely to happen.

You don't need it.
