The one on the 1 series has an AUX jack and a USB slot.
To answer the original question, with some MP3 players, you can get an adapter that has an AUX out Jack. You can also just run it out of the headphone jack, .
That fact that it's an analog signal really isn't an issue... all signals become analog at some point in time.
