He hasnt been very good the last couple seasons.
There was hope it was just Nolan's scheme last season that he struggled with, but even in Quinn's system he was having issues. And only playing about 1/4 of the snaps.
Add in his $9mill guarantee for next season if hes injured or needs surgery, and best to cut him now before that happens. With Neal coming off the Covid list, Kearse playing more of a hybrid LB/S role, and Cox starting to see more time, he was the odd man out. I can see them not re-signing LVE this offseason as well.
