I also don't expect him to. But Russel sure prooves his value once again for Mercedes. Getting pole in an average or temperamental car with a team that doesn't understand the car is a very good performance. Especially taking into account that he's only been with the team for 6 months.
But the pace of the Ferrari's will be very fast tomorrow, so around if they don't get him at the start, they'll get him at the first pitstops.
Unless they f#ck it up of course, 50/50 chance with Ferrari
