Hi Toby I have the bike rack preparation. (I purchased a pre reg and it was already optioned). Bike rack prep comprises of the electrics (swing down fitting) and a bracket which I think only fits the £600 BMW bike rack. I usually put my bike in the car, however I already have a Thule 3 bike rack the same as the BMW offering but has a conventional ball towbar fitting. I am thinking of investigating if some sort of conversion can be done to the bracket mounting on the car . I suspect not.
