It's hard to make that argument because everything is constantly in flux, eras, teammates, so on and so forth. On that basis, who knows? Easier just to say they are the equal.
However, here's why to me, LeBron will never be the GOAT:
First, unlike Jordan, he didn't
constantly switch teams and build super teams to win championships. There's something to be said about Jordan winning three in a row, twice with a similar team over the course of 8 years.
Second, anyone who has to constantly proclaim they are a GOAT, isn't. Jordan still isn't proclaiming it. Neither is Brady, neither did Schumacher nor does Hamilton. They let their game talk and let the fans make that determination.
