I'd ask the guys who are using 19" wheels now. I'm not sure I agree with Mike about the sidewalls. The deeper the sidewall, the more room for deflection on the tread. I'm assuming proper tire inflation in any case. If I lived where they don't get potholes (So.Cal), I would definitely do 19s like Silverbullet, but this is starting to look like a particularly bad year for roads in NJ, so I'm back on the fence (18s vs 19s).
