The diameter of the wheel does not matter as much as your own diligence in maintaining your tire pressure. The #1 reason for bent wheels is drivers not maintaining the proper tire pressure. Whether it be a forged or cast wheel, all wheels are extremely vulnerable to bends or cracks if there are under-inflated tires on the vehicle.

We've sold many sets to customers in the northeast. Some of them have had to purchase individual replacement sets, but I would say the % is less than 5%. I imagine that is because we are selling product to car enthusiasts who maintain their cars diligently.

If it's a big concern, just don't spend more than $1000 on your set of wheels. You won't feel so bad if it's only $250 to replace a wheel instead of say... $1250?
