I think we gave him a few good options around the budget and with what he was looking for. Seagate Slim USB 3.0 2TB will run him $80-90 for external that he can carry, and if using a backup, no need for RAID NAS, etc at this level. (Sold a SICK set of SQL Servers with RAID 60 SAS-Drives last month)
1TB SSD was going to eat half his budget (or quarter for a 500GB) if he was comfortable with cloning + swapping drives.  |
