I'd have to respectfully disagree. Practicing an act of violence - get used to the consequences.

I'm 53, and I still remember VIVIDLY that 5-minute interval when my dad, working as assistant DA for the local city, arranged for me to be put in a cell. I can't recall the transgression, but I will never go back.

The social media bullying has every bit the same consequences as any other bullying. And absolutely should be treated with the same level as a physical threat of violence.

The UNFORTUNATE thing is that parents are not taking care of this in their own kids, and expecting school officials/police to do the child-rearing; preset company excluded.
