Really happy to finally found this. I have been doing a lot of researches on this. Sounds like this is the closest configuration as what my 2010 E60 ( i should say 2009 since it sometimes cause the confusion, it's produced in 2009) has. I will go through these posts and check again.
Wondering what configuration you decided to go with?
Do you know if Technic has a harness for this type of upgrade for 2009 E60?
