I used normal size grille tank. The oven has 3 folding legs underneath and the stone inside is removable/reversible. It is well insulated, but still gets pretty hot on the outside surface. It is safe to use on any outside table wood/glass/etc. I'll pull it out and get some pics if you want to see anything specific. I got the 12" version.
I got the travel bag, when I'm not using it, I fold it up and put it in the basement.
