Like many here I love cars, driving cars, steering feel, shifting gears etc. type stuff which most people don't care about.
Slightly controversial opinion: I really dislike San Diego and even find it a bit depressing. I'm probably the only person who feels this way. It's a mind-numbingly boring beach town with nothing to do. It lacks the energy and excitement of other cities and always has a lazy sunday afternoon vibe. The reasons many people love SD are the reasons I hate it.
LA has a lot of issues but at least it's not a dull place like SD.
