Another way is to burn MP3 files onto CD's. A CD will hold 650 MB of mp3 files, or about 125 average size files (approx 10 -12 music CD's). I have 8 GB of MP3 files that I carry in a small CD wallet. The BMW standard unit treats these as an MP3 player, with title and artist display, etc. It is another method for playing your music collection if you don't have the USB option.
