aww man, I disagree.

take it as an opportunity to buy your first chainsaw. get a small one (they're easier to handle).

I've never really liked using the angle grinder or circular saw, but chainsaws are fun!

Just don't be an idiot - five minutes on YouTube will tell you how to not jam the bar - and always drink after using power tools, never before.
