Yup, the market hasn't been straight up since 2009. But the two near bear we saw had very quick recoveries, so it feels like an endless bull market. There were a few folks on the finance fora that went cash after the two 19%+ dips, but they missed out on a lot of gains after that. Although I gotta say that 2018 was a very shitty year.
