What blows my mind is the speed at which they caught up, which means if they can maintain that momentum everyone else will be catching up in a decade.
My buddy bought an 86 Excel in 93 for $300 and it was a right shitbox, but it was functional. 33 years later they are matching or besting manufacturers that have been building cars for 100 years and the company is half that.
