Looking at the pictures, I was very worried about the F30, until today.
With new cars, I'm rather hard to please, but in all honesty I can say that driving behind this car gave me a strong urge to preorder it. Its stance was suave beyond what today's BMWs are, along with its aggressive stance. With all my excitement worn off it still put a smile on my face looking at it. No other "F" generation BMW captured me like that.
As SCOTT26 pointed out, these cars should be appreciated in person. Pictures do them little justice.
