People are having their phones die even when it shows 20%. Great product and customer service for such a loyal customer base. Anything operating under the IOS is suspect.

Sometimes there are open recalls on the battery as happened on the iphone 5. I had my apple watch replaced when the battery swelled even though it was out of warranty at no charge. They won't tell you there's a recall, however. You have to bring the device to the apple store where they will look at it and tell you if there's a recall.
