Just pulled the last few drops of Basil Hayden Dark Rye with port out of a highball with a cube.
Tasty.
Some whiskey drinkers will be unhappy with it. Too sweet, not high enough proof.
It is a delightful luxurious drink with a rich finish and very smooth.
If you think of it as an after dinner drink like a good port or cognac you will be happier.
