When used for work, I make some pretty big purchases and get points for that...then get points for paying it off. My work let's me keep any benefits that come along with it.

I was the same till my wife showed me the way. Hawaiian Airline cards and we pretty much fly for free annually from JFK to Hawaii. Put a lot of our purchases on the cards and pay in full every month. Other then the minimal annual fees they don’t make a dime off us.
