Pandemic has nothing to do with these behaviors. Without getting this thread locked for going political, some of the behaviors have been escalating due to how people are perceiving what they can get away with now with the police. In addition, other videos are because everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame and are trying to one up each other for likes and views.
But if you really want to see what first responders see on a daily basis, just sign up for a ride along. You'll see much of this behavior is not as uncommon as you think it is. And some of it not even captured on video. I remember being on a call where the county police were on scene with us dealing with a particular person. One of the cops said, you won't see this on Cops.
