Yes it is.
I don't get onto the track too often but I do enjoy spirited drives on weekends etc and it really makes putting all the power down much easier.
You can also have heaps more fun power sliding and drifting around corners, but be careful as you can come unstuck at times if your not careful, as I recently did and clipped a signpost
