I confess, I keep the tracker on a shelf in my garage and only take it with me when I'm simply running to the grocer or some other mundane task.
But for S&G the other day I took the tracker with me in the M3 on a coulee run, we don't have canyons in western Wisconsin, just to check it out. Later when I checked my score on the app, holy smokes! ACCELERATION! SPEEDING! BRAKING! CORNERING! ... repeat. Needless to say my score with the M3 is now in the crapper.
I further confess, sometimes I take the M3 tracker with me in the truck when I'm hauling brush and recycling to town. I've gotta log some sane scores somehow.
Whew! I feel much better now.

WTF were you thinking?
My insurance company asked me a few years ago and I immediately turned it down. They then tried to shame me into doing it. Why wouldn't I want it? It will only be used for good to reduce your rates. Sure... No freakin way. They went on to ask if I frequently do abrupt stops and accelerates. I asked the person where they were from which turned out to be bumble f*ck no where. I asked if she had any idea what a rush hour commute was like in NYC.
I hate this big brother nonsense.
