I have a 2010 535i with M Sport package, HiFi Sound system, nav, etc. Recently I have been having an issue with the iDrive which is confusing. Intermitently I lose the audio, so no radio, phone works but I can't hear the call, they can hear me because the car mic works. Also GPS works, but can't hear the audible directions, etc. When it works, it works correctly. Usually it works first thing in the morning, but if I drive into town to the store, park the car and leave it for practically any amount of time, it won't work. It forgets that the satelite radio. But it usually always works correctly after the car has sat overnight. I would like to hear from anyone who might have had similar issues. The dealer just wants to replace the amplifier but I think its got to be a connector issue or wiring problem. If anyone can shed some light on this issue, I would appreciate it.
