I just can't figure out WHY 13 is a magical number in this house. They both love going to movies in the theatre, and surely the sound is rocking there.
It's not just me, or my equally "mature" wife's ears: The early 30-something nieces feel the same issue. It really comes down to the fact I don't have HBO at home, or I would do my catch-up watching at home, on high volume.
I almost bought one of those "as seen n TV" hearing aids for $20 last Friday, just to wear there.
All along, it's been as much about family, and Sunday afternoon dinner, so I just pass out on the couch a lot. . .
