Can't believe I never responded to this thread... Dating myself but way back in the day (read DOS, the younger members might have to Google it) you could only name files using eight characters. Same applied for login ID's in the early days of the internet so the wife and I used kscarrol. My first name initial, her first name initial and most of our last name! Been using it ever since...
