That's always been a problem with CU; that they rely on their "members" for all the data.
Just how many pocket-protector-wearing CU members have actually ponied up what it takes to own a Taycan? I posit that most are Honda Civic owners and even when they stretch to the aspirational brands, they expect a reliability that can only be achieved with simplistic interfaces and electronics. Not that everyone shouldn't be held to the same standard, but what does your average Honda Civic owner know about a $100,000 Porsche, and what are their expectations? More importantly, how does that reaction from so few become a data point worth considering?
